University of Exeter, United Kingdom invites application for CSM Trust Scholarship (Fully Funded) for eligible and interested candidates

About- Women in Mining (UK) and the CSM Trust are delighted to be offering two exceptional female students on a mining-related course a scholarship of £6,000 to support their studies.

The scholarship will be awarded at the panel’s discretion to the applicants considered most deserving of the award.

Study level- Master’s Degree

Location- University of Exeter, United Kingdom

Eligibility/Qualification–

Please note that the scholarships can only be awarded to female students who has gained an offer of a place to study Mining or Geology at the University of Exeter; a full list of programmes can be seen below.

One scholarship is available to a UK student and one to an international student. The successful candidates will be expected to take part in activities to promote women in mining.

  • MSc Mining Engineering
  • MSc Mining Environmental Management
  • MSc Applied Geotechnics
  • MSc Minerals Processing
  • MSc Mining Geology
  • MSc Exploration Geology
  • MSc Geotechnical Engineering

Applicants are asked to provide a 500 word statement outlining how this scholarship would help them pursue their studies and career, and encourage other female students into the mining sector.  In the event of statements of similar quality, preference may be given to applications for courses with the lowest proportion of female applicants.
