Trinity College, Australia invites application for Foundation Studies Scholarships for eligible and interested candidates
About- Trinity College Foundation Studies is specifically designed for international students wishing to succeed within the Australian university system and beyond.
Scholarships are awarded competitively on the basis of academic merit. Eligible students will be chosen from each Foundation Studies program, and by their geographic region.
To be eligible, you’ll have excellent high school results, be not permanently living in Australia as a resident, and will need to submit a completed Trinity College Foundation Studies application.
There’s no need to apply for a separate application for scholarship, as your Trinity College application will form the basis of the decision.
Scholarships are awarded prior to an intake commencing only and if you’re successful in being offered a place at Trinity College, you’ll be notified by email within two weeks of the selection round being held.
In 2021, Trinity College will award forty 50% tuition fee remissions for students joining the Foundation Studies program.

Trinity College Foundation Studies is a course specifically for international students who satisfy entry requirements and who wish to:
- sample university life in Australia
- join a strong community of like-minded students from around the world
- gain entry to the University of Melbourne and other Australian universities.
Foundation Studies students are:
- at least 16 years of age at the time of commencement
- high-achieving secondary students in their countries of origin
- planning to study a specific course at the University of Melbourne or another university in Australia or overseas.
Students under 18 years of age must arrange Trinity-approved accommodation for the duration of their course prior to applying for a student visa to study in Australia. Trinity’s Accommodation Office can assist with this process.
Foundation Studies fees vary according to the length of the program a student is undertaking. Foundation Studies admissions staff determine the most suitable intake for applicants on a case-by-case basis.

*If students have a 6.5 IELTS English language score with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent, the fees will be $40,000.
**A one-off $1,330 discount will be applied in 2021.
NB: Students who have had a sibling or parent undertake the Trinity College Foundation Studies program will receive a 5% Foundation Studies fee reduction.
