Eligibility/Qualification– M.Sc./M. Tech (Geology/Geosciences/Geoinformatics), Environmental Science -passed in Good Second Class having knowledge of geological mapping, computer, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (RS&GIS). Willingness for extensive field-works in Northeastern Himalayan terrain is highly desirable. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidate, Non NET candidate may also attend the interview.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years (Age relaxation as per rule)
Job/Position Description- This fellowship is purely temporary and shall be provided for project/scheme duration (one year) and the progress performance of the fellow. Selection for fellowship shall not confer any right of regular appointment in the University

- Funded By: GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development, Kosi-Almora (MoEF&CC, GoI) under IERP scheme
- Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + HRA @24% per month for NET qualified candidate and Rs 16,000 per month + HRA @24% per month for none NET qualified candidate.
