Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Institute of Science, BHU -Varanasi
Eligibility/Qualification– M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life-Science, Microbiology or related field (with 55% and above) and have qualified NET or GATE or equivqlent.
Age Limit: upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Challenged/Female Candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

- Project Title:“Investigation on the molecular mechanism of the tumor-suppressor and anticancerous functions of Arginyltransferase 1 (Atel)” (Code no P-01/725)
- P.I.: Dr. Akhilesh Kumar, Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005.
- Sponsored By: MHRD-STARS
- Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 per month for first two years and Rs 35,000 for third year
- Duration: 3 years.
- The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project
