About- Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB (Core Research Grant – CRG) Sponsored Project titled “Fluid-rock interaction at shallow subsurface level in the upper continental crust and its implications in altering the textural, mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of host rocks” (Project No. MoES/P.O. Seismo/l (374)/2019) under the guidance of Dr. Anupam Sharma, BSIP, Lucknow (Scientist — ‘F’ and PI), Dr. Kamlesh Kumar (Scientist — ‘D’ BSIP, Lucknow and Co-PID and Dr. M K Shukla, BGRL, Karad (Scientist — ‘C’ and Co-P12) tenable at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and Borehole Geophysical Research Laboratory, Karad.

Location-  Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, Lucknow (U.P.)

Eligibility/Qualification–

Age*	Not exceeding 28 years
Essential Qualification	Post     Graduation in Geology/Applied Geology/Botany/Environmental Science and allied disciplines from any recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks at graduation and post-graduation level.
Desirable Qualification	CSIRJUGC NET/GATE qualified candidate may be given preference.

*Age: Relaxation is admissible for candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category as per Government of India rules.

Job/Position Description- 

Fellowship	Rs. 31 ,000/- + 16 % HRA per month
Duration	Three years or co-terminus with project.
