Post Code: 01 | Project Associate I: 01 posts
- Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry
- Desirable experience: The selected candidate will work on laboratory/pilot plant experiments & chemical analysis. Knowledge of reaction stoichiometry, classical analytical methods are desirable. She/he will also be required to travel for sample collection & site work. Knowledge of instrumental techniques (viz., HPLC, FTIR etc.) would be added advantage.

- Essential Qualifications: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology
- Desirable experience: The selected candidates will work on process development & scale-up studies involving laboratory/ pilot plant experiments as well as commercial plant, equipment sizing & configuration, basic flow diagram & mass balance etc. She/he will also be required to travel for sample collection & site work. Knowledge of reaction stoichiometry, equipment design, MoC selection etc. are desirable. Exposure to basic analytical methods (flame test, acid-base titration etc.) would be added advantage.

- Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. / Masters in Microbiology/ Marine Biology / Marine Sciences / Biotechnology / Zoology / Life Sciences / Fisheries Sciences (including M. F. Sc)
- Desirable experience: The selected candidate will work on development and farm trial of probiotics for aquaculture. Candidate may be required to stay at shrimp farm during trial.
Job/Position Description-
Monthly Emoluments (in Indian rupees):
- 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who have qualified
- National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR
- a National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
- 25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under 1 above
Age: As on the last date of receipt of applications through email, i.e. 25/09/2020, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Duration: These positions are purely temporary for the period of One year extendable up to 31/03/2022. It would not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
