Project Engineer and Project Assistant at IIT Mandi

Research/Job Area- Technical Graduate / Post Graduate

Eligibility/Qualification–

Post (Project Engineer) (One position): Technical Graduate / Post Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of application programming experience. Knowledge of C# programming is must.
Post (Project Assistant) (One position): Technical Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science/IT with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience. Worked in a software support environment is preferable.

Job/Position Description- The project is about the installation and maintenance of the IT and network infrastructure of the institute.

Post (Project Engineer) (One position)

Consolidated Emolument: Rs. 20,000-27,000 per month
Job responsibilities: Software Developer
1. Able to develop the scalable applications with below technology stack –
  - C# ASP.net
  - Front end – HTML,CSS, Javascript, jQuery
  - Database – MSSQL is must and Mysql is good to have.
2. Able to understand the requirements given by stakeholders / team-mates.
3. Able to do unit testing and functional testing of the developed modules / application
4. Should be able to deploy the developed application on IIS server.

Post (Project Assistant) (One position)

Consolidated Emolument: Rs. 12,000-18,000 per month
Job responsibilities: Technical Support
1. Ticket logging, assigning and tracking of issues.
2. Providing support / queries to the users over phone /emails.
3. Analysing issues reported and preparing report.
4. Providing training to the users as and when required.
