Full Scholarships Singapore University of Technology and Design Scholarships are available to all international students studying in 2022-2023. New students can get scholarships. offering a fully-funded PhD scholarship to outstanding full-time PhD.

SUTD was founded to advance knowledge and foster technologically savvy leaders and innovators to meet societal needs.

1. Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD) – focusing on sustainable architectural and urban solutions to meet the present and future needs of buildings and cities
2. Engineering Product Development (EPD) – focusing on innovative technology-intensive products that span multiple disciplines
3. Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) – focusing on large-scale complex systems whose performance and function depend on their technology and socio-economic context
4. Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) – focusing on information systems that interact with the physical world, humans, and machines
5. Science and Math – focusing on wide-ranging, interdisciplinary research that is grounded in Science and Math fundamentals and with practical applications
6. Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) – focusing on understanding social and technological transformations through empowering lenses of humanities and social sciences

Scholarship Description

SUTD GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP (PH.D.)

• Fees in full
• Monthly stipend of
• S$3,500 (Singaporeans) S$3,200 (Singapore Permanent Residents)
• $1,500 (International Students)
• CPF levy (Singapore Citizens only)
• yearly conference funding
• Sponsored international research, attachments, and internships.

• All Nations Welcome
• Fees in full
• The Qualifying Exam increased the monthly stipend to $3,200. (Singapore Citizens)
• Passing the Qualifying Exam raised the fee to $2,700. (Singapore Permanent Residents)
• $2,500 after passing the Qualifying Exam (International Students)
• CPF levy (Singapore Citizens only)
• SUTD administers the following full-time Ph.D. scholarship: Industrial Postgraduate Programme (EDB) (IPP)

• Copy of the original undergraduate or graduate degree transcript.
• Score report for TOEFL or IELTS
• “If your undergraduate studies were not taught in English, please submit your IELTS or TOEFL scores 2 weeks after the application deadline.”
• GRE score report
• Completion isn’t required, but
• Recommenders’ names, titles, and email addresses
• Documents to back up
• Softcopy of your ID card or relevant passport pages
• Your Objectives (3,000 words)
