Scholarship Description
- The Master’s Degree Scholarship is for a period of two years.
- The duration of the Ph.D. Degree Scholarship is 36 months.
- Master’s scholars will receive a stipend of $16,000 for a maximum of 24 months.
- DOCTORAL scholars will receive a stipend of $20,000 for a period of up to 36 months.
- All students will be able to receive assistance from professors when putting together research projects for class assignments.
Eligibilty
The following are the eligibility requirements for graduate scholarships at the University of Saskatchewan for international students studying in Canada:
All international students are eligible to apply.
- A candidate must be currently enrolled in or admitted to a full-time graduate degree program at UGS in order to be considered.
- Before applying for the scholarship, a candidate must be enrolled in his or her first year of his or her Master’s or Ph.D. degree program at UGS.
- As a prospective or continuing student, a candidate must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 80 percent.
