Research institution in Amsterdam, Netherlands invites application for Vuvereniging Scholarships for eligible and interested candidates
About- This year, VUvereniging is offering 56 scholarships to Bachelor and Master students attending VU Amsterdam who are interested in joining VU Amsterdam Summer School in July 2021. The scholarships are worth €500 per applicant meaning that applicants only pay €150 for online or €350 for on-campus courses! All interested students can apply for the scholarship through this link. We will award the scholarship on a first come first serve basis
Study level-Bachelor, Advanced Bachelor and Master level
Location- Research institution in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Eligibility/Qualification–
Courses are taught at Bachelor, Advanced Bachelor and Master level, and are suitable for students as well as for PhD staff and professionals. Some courses are offered at both Bachelor and Master level. While submitting your application you are able to select the level.
The following entry requirements are set:
- Bachelor: at least enrolled in 1st year of Bachelor studies
- Advanced Bachelor: at least enrolled in 2nd year of Bachelor studies
- Master: at least enrolled in final year of Bachelor studies – professionals need to have a Bachelor diploma

*If on the basis of the provided documents doubts remain about the academic level of the student, the VU Amsterdam Summer School reserves the right to ask for additional documents and/or a telephone/Skype interview.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS (NOT NECESSARY TO PROVIDE PROOF)
It is not necessary to provide us with proof of your English. We do expect your English to be sufficient to understand classes and course literature. This means you should have at least a B2 level of English, as developed within the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR). This is comparable to a Toefl internet test with a score of 92, or an IELTS score of 6.5.

The fee includes:
- Two week online course;
- Exclusive content for a limited number of students;
- Transcript of records with a maximum of 3 ECTS (European study credits);
- Certificate of attendance after completing the course;
- Individual/group guidance from professor;
- Interactive classes;
- Social activities;
- Full support from the summer school team.

How to Apply-
All interested students can apply for the scholarship through this link. We will award the scholarship on a first come first serve basis. If you apply and pay, we will check if you meet the requirements for the course you selected (requirements are stated on the course websites). If you meet these requirements you will be awarded the scholarship. The deadline to apply is 1 June 2021 or for as long as there are scholarships available which might be before this day.
