Job Description
Fellows are treated as equivalent to congressional staffers. Core responsibilities include:
- Drafting and evaluating legislation.
- Preparing for and supporting Congressional hearings, investigations, and markups.
- Conducting policy research and writing technical policy briefs.
- Advising Members of Congress or committee staff on science and technology issues.
- Translating complex technical concepts into actionable policy recommendations.
