Eligibility & Qualifications
- Degree: Must hold a PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) completed no later than the time of the award decision. Priority is given to those who obtained their degree within the last three years (exceptions may be considered for valid reasons like parental leave, illness, military service, or clinical practice).
- Expertise: Candidates should have experience or a keen interest in areas such as computational/mathematical modeling, machine learning, data analytics, programming, statistics, physics, molecular biology, microbiology, ecology, systems biology, bioinformatics, or biophysics.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, scientific independence, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and proficiency in written and spoken English.
Job Description
Postdoctoral researchers will:
- Engage in cutting-edge research at the intersection of theoretical and empirical science.
- Collaborate with and be supervised by multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IceLab professional development activities, including seminars, networking events, and collaborative projects.
- Contribute to their specific project goals, such as building mechanistic models, analyzing high-dimensional datasets, or designing targeted experiments.
