Location
United Kingdom: Studies must be undertaken at one of the Saïd Foundation’s UK partner universities. Applications to non-partner universities are only considered under exceptional circumstances (e.g., if the proposed course is not offered by any partner institution).
Eligibility/Qualification
To be considered for the Saïd Foundation scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Hold Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese, or Palestinian nationality and permanently reside in one of these target countries (exceptions are made for Syrians residing elsewhere due to current circumstances).
- Academic Excellence: Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree or higher. Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
- Experience: Have relevant work and/or voluntary experience in their field of study, alongside a clear career path upon returning to the Middle East.
- Language Proficiency: Meet the Foundation’s minimum English language requirements, as well as any higher requirements set by the chosen university.

As a Saïd Foundation Scholar, you are expected to act as a driver of positive change for your community. You will undertake rigorous postgraduate training in the UK and use your newly acquired skills to further the development of your home region.
- Benefits: The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, typically covering full tuition fees, full maintenance and living costs, an arrival allowance, visa fees, Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) fees, and one economy return flight to the UK.
