Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must be on a career break for personal reasons (e.g., family responsibilities, health-related issues) for a minimum of two years.
  • A graduate profile with an MSc degree is required.
  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with about 3 years of experience.
  • Candidates in experimental or theoretical physics should have a Research Fellowship profile with a PhD degree and around six years of post-PhD experience.
  • Current CERN staff members are not eligible to apply.

Job Description

Fellows will work on innovative projects that contribute to CERN’s mission in fundamental physics. They will receive on-the-job formal training and in-house language courses (French and/or English).
