Eligibility/Qualification

  • Open to graduate students (MA or PhD) at the University of Victoria.
  • Students from other universities may also be considered.
  • Must be actively working on a thesis or dissertation during the fellowship period.
  • Previous recipients of a CSRS MA award may only reapply at the PhD level.
  • Applicants from all nationalities are welcome.

Job Description

Fellows will receive:

  • A stipend of CAD $6,500 for up to 12 months (prorated for shorter periods).
  • Access to UVic library services and dedicated office space.
  • Opportunities to participate in daily gatherings, public lectures, and workshops.
  • Networking with a multidisciplinary group within the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society.
