To be eligible for the University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  1. Meet the entry requirements for a Master’s by Research or PhD program at the University of Melbourne.
  2. Have applied for a graduate research degree at the University by the scholarship deadline.
  3. Be either a new applicant or a current student in an eligible research program.

Job Description

This scholarship offers a fully funded opportunity, which includes:

  • Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the program
  • Annual living allowance of AUD $38,500
  • Relocation allowance to assist with moving costs
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students

Approximately 600 scholarships will be awarded to support academic excellence and foster groundbreaking research.
