Eligibility/Qualification

  • Must be physically present on campus for internship (remote participation is not allowed).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s students, or those who graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in May of the previous academic year or later.
  • PhD students cannot apply directly but may contact research groups for guidance.
  • Open to international students from all countries, except Russia and Belarus (due to EU Sanctions).
  • Excellent command of the English language is required.
  • Strong educational background relevant to the selected research project.

Description

The Aalto Summer Research Program provides an excellent platform for international students to enhance their research skills through hands-on experience. Participants will engage in meaningful research projects, collaborate with peers, and benefit from a structured program that includes social and cultural events designed to foster networking and knowledge-sharing. Throughout the internship, students will receive a monthly salary to assist with living costs and will participate in various activities to experience Finnish culture.
