Scholarship Description

The STIBET scholarship provides a stipend of €400 per month for three months, totaling €1,200. Please note that this is not a fully funded scholarship intended to cover an entire degree, international travel, comprehensive living expenses, or health insurance. Its practical goal is to lessen the financial strain on students who are either in the final stages of writing their thesis or balancing their academic advancement with voluntary community work.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must currently attend Anhalt University as an international student and fulfill one of the following two profiles:

1. Graduation Scholarship Profile:

  • You are in the final stage of your bachelor’s or master’s program.
  • You can finish your thesis in a single semester and anticipate turning it in within that timeframe.
  • You have earned the majority of your required credits and have good to very good marks.
  • You are enrolled full-time and will live in Germany during your thesis term.

2. Particularly Committed Students Profile:

  • You have completed at least one semester at Anhalt University.
  • You have performed well academically.
  • You have an active history of participating in volunteer, international, or social activities (e.g., buddy programs, supporting recently arrived international students). This involvement must be provable and quantifiable.

(Note: Students applying from outside Germany, attending another university, or unable to obtain a professor’s recommendation are not eligible).
