Graduate students selected for this scholarship will have responsibilities such as:

- Analyzing quantitative data using R software
- Collaborating with professionals from interdisciplinary fields
- Supervising undergraduate students where necessary
- Publishing findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Presenting research at conferences
