The CERN Summer Student Program 2026 invites applications from international students for a fully funded internship in Geneva, Switzerland. This program provides students the opportunity to work on advanced technical projects and participate in a series of extensive physics and IT lectures conducted by world-renowned scientists and researchers.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Open to students of all nationalities
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (not a PhD candidate)
- Completed at least 6 semesters (3 academic years) of full-time university studies in relevant fields
- Must not have previously worked at CERN for more than 3 months or been a Summer Student at CERN
- Good knowledge of English; knowledge of French is a plus
Job Description
- Work on a technical project as part of an experimental, engineering, or computing team for 8 to 13 weeks
- Attend specialized lectures covering various topics in theoretical and experimental particle physics, engineering, and computing
- Gain hands-on experience and interact with leading experts in the field
