Home Institution: Germany (Must be enrolled at a German HAW).

Host Location: Any approved international host institution or research location outside of Germany.

Eligibility / Qualification

To qualify for consideration under this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • HAW Enrollment: Be officially enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diploma program at a recognized German University of Applied Sciences (HAW).
  • Continuous Matriculation: Maintain active student status at your German home university throughout the entire funded period abroad.
  • Academic Merit: Possess strong academic standing in your current degree program.
  • Approved Project: Plan an officially approved study semester or thesis-related research stay at an international host institution.
  • Clear Academic Purpose: Demonstrate a clear academic justification and motivation for completing part of your studies or research in the selected host country.
  • Note: This program is an outgoing mobility grant for students already studying in Germany and is not intended for students seeking to begin a new degree in Germany.
