Eligibility / Qualification Criteria

To be considered for the HDR Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Admission Offer: You must have received a valid, unconditional Letter of Offer for admission to an eligible Ph.D. or Professional Doctorate program at Bond University.
  • Academic Excellence: Have a strong academic background with a minimum GPA of 6.5 (on a 7-point scale) or equivalent.

Selected scholars will receive the following financial support from the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) or Bond University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (BUPRS):

How to Apply

The scholarship application process must be completed in two distinct phases:

  1. Apply for Admission first:Submit an application for a doctoral research program at the Bond University Online Application Portal. Note: Processing your admission can take 6 to 10 weeks, so plan well in advance.
  2. Apply for the Scholarship:Once you receive your official Letter of Offer, complete the online Higher Degree Research Scholarship Application form through the student portal.
  3. Prepare and Upload Documents:Ensure you upload all required supporting materials, including:
