Eligibility / Qualification
To be considered for the Eric Bleumink Fund Grant, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Have received provisional or unconditional admission to a master’s program before February.
- Possess an excellent academic record, preferably confirmed by letters of recommendation, and have excellent grades during bachelor’s/undergraduate studies.
- Demonstrate excellent English language proficiency in accordance with the admission requirements of the chosen program.
- Be available for the entire duration of the program and be able to participate in all its parts.
- Be in good health, ensuring health insurance can be arranged in the Netherlands.
- Hold the nationality of an eligible country (see Appendix 1/country list on the official page).
- Have no other financial means of financing the study in question.
Job Description / Program Scope
Selected scholars will enroll as full-time graduate students in their chosen Master’s program at the University of Groningen. They are expected to maintain excellent academic standing, complete their rigorous coursework and research requirements, and fully participate in the academic and cultural life of the university community.
How to Apply
Students do not apply directly for the Eric Bleumink Fund. Instead, the application process works via nomination:
- Apply for an eligible Master’s degree program at the University of Groningen.
- Obtain provisional or unconditional admission to the program before February.
- The University of Groningen Admission Office, in consultation with the Faculty Admission Boards, will independently determine which admitted applicants will be nominated for the Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship.
