1000 Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships in Germany (Bachelors, Master, PhD)

Applications are now open for the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships 2022. All international students, EU students, and German students studying in Germany can apply for a Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship.

The Heinrich Boll Foundation will award 1000 scholarships to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students.

This grant can be used to study almost any academic subject or major. You will study degree courses at state-recognized universities in Germany. Heinrich Böll is a well-known and influential German author. More info on Heinrich Scholarships here.

Scholarship Description

Expenses for the Basic Expenses of Studying in Germany are covered by scholarships provided by the Heinrich Boll Foundation in Germany. Please see the table below for more information on the scholarship benefits.

Eligibilty

• Demonstration of the required German language proficiency (B2 oder DSH)
• Exceptional academic standing and grades; if necessary, first-graded documentation of academic achievements
• Identification with the Foundation’s goals is achieved through social engagement and political participation.
• The Foundation is looking for individuals who are responsible, self-motivated, and dependable, and who are willing to contribute actively to the Foundation’s work.

Required Documents

To be considered for the German Scholarship for International Students, applicants must submit the following documents:

• Application for University Entrance Qualification or Equivalent Qualification
• If you have already begun your studies, please provide a list of all of your study certificates to date.
• The following documents are required of international applicants seeking a master’s degree scholarship: an original or certified copy of your first-degree certificate
• Certificate of Enrollment for Students Proof of fluency in the German language, as evidenced by written work. At the bare minimum, DSH 2 or Level B2 is required.
• A professional recommendation from a university or college lecturer.
• A third-party endorsement of your charitable endeavors
