Eligibility/Qualification
- Must reside outside Japan.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the creative field.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Independent and responsible in managing daily life and creative work.
- Not a student at the time of residency (Ph.D. candidates are an exception).
- If applying as a duo, at least one must live outside Japan.
Job Description
Selected artists will spend three months in Tokyo developing their artistic projects. Participants will receive financial support covering accommodation, daily expenses (JPY 4,200 per day), and a grant of JPY 300,000 for their creative work. Artists will have opportunities to exhibit their work at the TOKAS Open Studio.

- Obtain two letters of recommendation from professionals or institutions in the art and culture field.

- Upload your portfolio as a single PDF file (max 6 A4 pages, under 10MB) by July 2, 2025, using the link provided by TOKAS after application submission.
