Eligibility/Qualification

To be eligible for the MTCP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of an MTCP recipient country.
  • Age: Not more than 45 years old at the time of application.
  • Academic Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent.
  • English Proficiency: Minimum IELTS score of 6 or TOEFL score of 60, or proof of English as the medium of instruction for prior studies.
  • Health Requirement: Must provide a medical examination report certifying excellent health.
  • Admission: Must have received a valid admission offer from a Malaysian university.
