Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Students in the final two years of their undergraduate or master’s program in Japan or overseas.
  • Recent graduates are eligible to apply.
  • Current students must have approval from their home institution for the OIST internship.

Description:

The OIST Internship Program is a pathway for students to engage in intensive research experiences within the vibrant scientific community at OIST. Interns receive hands-on training to enhance their research skills under world-renowned faculty. The internship spans 2 to 6 months, with a timeframe running from October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026. Selected interns get a daily allowance, fully funded travel, accommodation, and additional support for visa and registration.
