Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Citizenship: Non-Japanese (including dual nationality holders)
  • Visa status: Student visa
  • Residency: Outside Japan until enrollment
  • Japanese proficiency: JLPT N4 level or above
  • Age: Born after April 2, 1979 (under 45 as of April 1 of the award year)

Job Description:

  • Receive monthly stipend: 140,000 JPY for masterā€™s students
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses up to 250,000 JPY after arrival in Japan

  1. Submit an application to Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University by September 16, 2024, and request consideration as a Rotary Yoneyama scholarship candidate.
  2. Apply directly to the Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship organization around October 2024.
  3. Once selected by APU, a Letter of Recommendation will be issued to candidates.
  4. Submit the APU Letter of Recommendation to the Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship organization.
