Description

The Tokyo Biennale Social Dive residency program invites artists to immerse themselves in the art of walking (“Sanpo”) while interacting with Tokyo’s rich cultural landscape. Artists will spend September to October 2025 developing their projects and engaging with local communities, culminating in an exhibition at the Tokyo Biennale. Full funding covers travel expenses (up to 300,000 JPY), accommodation, project development support (up to 200,000 JPY), and an honorarium of 100,000 JPY.
