Scholarship Description & Coverage
The UBD Graduate Scholarship (UGS) is competitive funding designed to attract outstanding global talent to engage in innovative research at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The scholarship removes financial barriers for graduate students by offering comprehensive support throughout their studies.
Selected scholars will receive the following funding benefits:
- 100% Tuition Fee Waiver: Coverage of all tuition, acceptance, and enrollment fees.
- Monthly Allowance: BND 500.00 per month living stipend for up to 36 months.
- On-Campus Accommodation: Free residential university housing for 36 months.
- Travel Allowance: Round-trip economy class airfare provided from the scholar’s home country upon admission and return upon degree completion.
- Research Grant Support: Fieldwork allowance up to BND 1,000.00 for Arts and Humanities candidates, and up to BND 2,000.00 for Science candidates.
