Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Undergraduate GPA: 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Bachelor’s degree in animal science, veterinary medicine, or a related field

  • Experience handling livestock, particularly broiler chickens
  • Proficiency in IT or Python programming languages is preferred
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or conference presentations are advantageous

English Proficiency (for international applicants):

Job Description:

The selected graduate student will work under the supervision of Dr. Sunch Che, Assistant Professor of Poultry Graduate Management. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading research projects on poultry health and biosecurity
  • Developing survey questions using Qualtrics
  • Analyzing data from surveys
  • Creating fact sheets and infographics
  • Preparing manuscripts for publication
