Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
To be eligible for the WBG Pioneers Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of a World Bank Group member country.
- Academic Status:
- Undergraduate Track: Must be enrolled in a recognized university and in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Postgraduate Track: Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program (and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of other official WBG languages (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, or Chinese) is advantageous.
- Work Experience: Candidates with 0 to 6 years of professional work experience are eligible.

Job Description & Responsibilities
Selected interns join short-term temporary contracts and contribute directly to WBG workstreams. Responsibilities generally include:
