To be eligible for the York University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an international student studying at York on a valid Study Permit and paying international fees.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 7.80 and be in good academic standing.
  • Must demonstrate financial need due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Must be beyond the first year of study and registered in an undergraduate program at the time of application.
  • Proficiency in English (applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of higher-level English proficiency).

Job Description

This scholarship provides recipients with CAD $45,000 per year for undergraduate studies, totaling CAD $180,000 over a standard 3 to 4-year degree program. It aims to alleviate the financial burden of education and ensure focus on academic excellence.
