Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Must be a foreign professional from a developing country (excluding China).
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 or higher) or English.
  • Aged between 18 and 40 years by August 25, 2025.
  • Must be a current higher education student or recent graduate.
  • Required to provide proof of studies, a recommendation letter, and meet additional requirements of host companies.
  • Must not have participated in the program from 2016 to 2024.
  • Intent to work in Japan or seek employment in a Japanese company.

Description:

The METI Japan Internship Program is designed to foster the development of international talent in Japanese businesses.
